According to reports, this decision resulted from the collaboration between the National Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for UNESCO, the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games, and the Permanent Mission of Kyrgyzstan to UNESCO in Paris.
The provision of this patronage underscores the international recognition of the World Nomad Games as a significant global project aimed at preserving and promoting traditional sports and games, which are an important part of the intangible cultural heritage.
This opens new horizons for increasing international participation and further promoting Kyrgyzstan's cultural heritage on the world stage, the agency noted.
