Schoolchildren of Kara-Kul demonstrated their military training skills at the competition for Defender of the Fatherland Day

On February 27, a competition titled "Preparation of Youth for Military Service" was held at military unit No. 7706 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The competition featured participation from the chairman of the Kara-Kul City Council Chyngyz Kimsanov, staff from the city's education department, and parents of students.

Students from six general education schools in Kara-Kul and students from vocational college No. 89 demonstrated their skills in military training, physical education, discipline, and tactics. They performed drill exercises, assembled and disassembled rifles, and donned gas masks.

The judges evaluated participants based on criteria of discipline, speed of task completion, accuracy, and teamwork ability.

As a result of the competition, teams that achieved prize-winning places were identified and awarded cash prizes and certificates:

1st place — General Education School No. 1 named after T. Satylganov;

2nd place — General Education School No. 4 named after D. Shopokov;

3rd place — General Education School No. 2 named after Ch. Tüleberdiev.

Additionally, cash prizes and certificates were awarded to four more schools that actively participated in the competition.

The main goal of this event was to foster patriotism among youth, improve preparation for military service, strengthen physical fitness, and develop basic military skills.
