Families in Bishkek who lost their homes received insurance payouts of 1 million soms. This was reported by the State Insurance Organization JSC.
These payouts were made in accordance with contracts previously signed by local residents with this insurance company.
Representatives of the JSC noted that "25% of real estate in Bishkek is already insured by state insurance. It is necessary to expand coverage, as disasters can strike unexpectedly. We urge citizens to insure both movable and immovable property, as this is the only means of compensation for losses in the event of adverse circumstances."
