He noted that the state has managed to recover damages amounting to over 38 billion soms.
“We have not only eliminated individual criminal formations but also dismantled a long-standing system that supported shadow influence. The rule of law has been restored,” the president emphasized.
According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone significant digital transformation by implementing modern surveillance systems across the country for round-the-clock monitoring.
“According to the results, the total number of registered crimes has decreased by 73 percent. In places with installed surveillance cameras, cases of serious offenses have decreased by 68 percent. All these measures are aimed at improving safety on the streets, ensuring peace for families, and giving parents confidence in their children's future,” added Sadyr Japarov.
The president also emphasized that “statements about creating a strong state should not be perceived as empty words.”
“We are talking about the ability to protect borders, ensure justice, punish criminals, and guarantee the safety of every citizen. For many years, corruption undermined state institutions, caused distrust among the people, and created obstacles to economic development. We have taken decisive measures to eliminate this deeply rooted problem,” he concluded.
As part of anti-corruption measures, the state has regained thousands of real estate properties. 959 properties have been transferred to state and municipal authorities, and more than 3,300 hectares of agricultural land have returned to the balance of local self-government bodies,” the president finished his speech.
