In 2025, 855 people passed through the rehabilitation center for individuals with disabilities
The center offers a wide range of free rehabilitation services, including:
* medical rehabilitation: physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise (TE), paraffin therapy, massage, and dentistry (treatment and prosthetics);
* medical-technical: assistance in preparation for prosthetics and adaptation to prostheses;
* psychological;
* social-labor: training in sewing, beadwork, drawing, and computer literacy;
* socio-cultural: participation in cultural events organized for patients.
To access the services, a number of documents must be provided:
1. Referral from the Family Medicine Center, General Practice Center, Medical-Social Expert Commission, or other institutions.
2. Passport.
3. Copy of the disability certificate from the MSEC.
4. Conclusion from fluorography, results of blood and urine tests.
5. Individual rehabilitation and habilitation program (IRP).
Patients are accommodated in rooms with three meals a day and have access to recreation areas, a television, board games, a library, and a computer class.
Stays at the center can last from 10 to 20 days. In the case of rehabilitation with prosthetics, the duration may extend up to 35 working days depending on the complexity of the prosthetic device and the adaptation period.
Individuals with disabilities of the I group who require assistance with primary prosthetics can be hospitalized along with accompanying persons, who also receive a bed and meals.
Upon discharge of patients from remote areas, monetary payments for one-way travel once a year by land transport (excluding taxis) are provided.
