At a republican meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov reported that 856 million soms have been allocated for the publication of textbooks in 2025.

In comparison, in 2021, only 63.5 million soms were spent on these purposes, which allowed for the printing of 329,000 textbooks.

According to Baisalov, there are 2,394 schools operating in Kyrgyzstan, where 1.5 million children are studying.

He also noted that last year, 76 new educational institutions were opened, and 41 schools underwent major repairs. These actions allowed for the creation of 17,000 new student places, and all institutions are now provided with internet access.
