The upper zone of the Botanical Garden serves as a production site where scientific research is conducted, collection plants are grown, and greenhouses with nurseries operate. Due to restoration work and the commissioning of greenhouse complexes, this area is fully engaged in scientific and production activities.
In order to ensure the safety of scientific collections and in connection with the ongoing reconstruction, access to the upper (production) part of the garden is temporarily closed to visitors.
The administration also notes that there have been increasing cases of dog walking without leashes and muzzles in the upper part of the garden.
Staff regularly receive complaints from other visitors about violations of behavior rules, including littering.
This area is a scientific and production zone and is not intended for walking pets.
Nevertheless, the territory of the Botanical Garden at 212 M. Gorky Street is open to visitors.
