On February 26, a check was conducted in Bishkek, during which malfunctions were discovered in several buses. As a result, they were prohibited from going out on routes.
According to information provided by the city hall, some buses require re-washing, as their condition does not meet established cleanliness and appearance standards.
The Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the Bishkek City Hall conducted an inspection of the sanitary and technical condition of the buses of the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" before their morning routes.
Additionally, due to insufficient control over the technical condition and the lack of proper monitoring of public transport schedules, some mechanics received warnings, and one mechanic was reprimanded.
