






In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a ceremony was held where insurance certificates were presented to residents affected by a recent fire.
City Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and the director of the Bishkek branch of the state insurance company, Alima Nurlanova, were present at the event to hand over the certificates.
The total amount of payouts was 8 million soms, with each of the eight recipients receiving 1 million soms.
During his speech, the mayor emphasized the importance of insuring homes and wished everyone health and well-being.
"Often, misfortune comes unexpectedly. The fire affected 68 apartments, but only eight of them were insured with our organization. We strive to ensure that all citizens' property is insured and urge all residents to take care of this," noted Junushaliev.
The city administration also took measures to provide financial assistance to another 22 families affected by the incident.
Recall that on November 15, 2025, a fire occurred in a three-story building at 16 Ch. Aitmatov Avenue in Bishkek, covering an area of about 800 square meters.
