In Kara-Balta, there is a threat of the route taxi "Kara-Balta — Sary-Bulak" ceasing operations, which has caused serious concern among local residents.
This information came from a representative of the transportation company that provides passenger services in the city and the Jaiyl district.
According to the organization's employees, the condition of the road in the "Bakay-Inpak" area in the south of Kara-Balta poses serious problems. The road is in poor condition, with numerous potholes, making it difficult for public transport to operate.
The route serves the residents of the villages of Sary-Bulak and Monoldor daily, as well as the "Yuzhny" and "Gornyak" dacha areas, including passengers heading to the city cemetery. This route also provides transportation for schoolchildren and working individuals. One driver makes up to three trips a day.
“Since March of this year, the driver has refused to go out on the route due to the poor condition of the road. Traveling on it is extremely risky. The driver’s vehicle often breaks down. We have contacted various authorities, including the Municipal Enterprise "DSU," Municipal Enterprise "Universal," and the city administration, but so far we have only received verbal promises. Company representatives emphasize that they do not know how they will be able to continue servicing the route under such poor road conditions. If the movement is stopped, several settlements and dacha areas will be left without transportation.
