Passengers were left in the dark and only learned about the flight's cancellation at the time of check-in. Many found themselves in a difficult situation as they had urgent trips dependent on non-refundable bookings, other flights, and hotels.
The press service of Manas International Airport informed Kaktus.media that they also learned about the flight delay only just before check-in began.
According to the airport, the flight cancellation was due to the illness of one of the crew members. According to the airline's internal rules, if the crew is incomplete, the flight is suspended.
Passengers were accommodated at the "Zhannat" hotel, and the new departure is scheduled for February 27 at 15:30 local time.
