Respect. McDonald's decided not to show burger ads during Ramadan hours

In Germany, the management of McDonald’s has decided to stop displaying images of food on billboards during the Muslim fasting period. Advertising materials will only be visible after sunset.
This new initiative, which implies that digital billboards are synchronized with the solar cycle, allows food to be shown only during the dark hours and has received positive feedback from the Muslim community.

Now, digital billboards are programmed so that during the day, product packaging either remains empty or closed. After sunset, these same packages are "filled" in real-time with fries and burgers.
