
New fish farming cooperatives are planned to be established in the Tokmok forestry. This information was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
This initiative is being implemented in accordance with the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on the development of the country's agro-industrial complex. The work on creating cooperatives aims to support the agricultural sector, ensure food security, and effectively utilize available resources.
Uniting farmers into cooperatives is one of the most important directions, which will allow for the expansion of farms and enhance their production capabilities.
Currently, there are 5 fish farming cooperatives operating in the republic:
* "Fish Sary-Chelek" (Aksy district, 20 members);
* "Ryazan Trout" (Aksy district, 4 members);
* "Rainbow" (Tokmok forestry, 5 members);
* "Fish Farmer" (Tokmok forestry, 17 members);
* "Spartak Trout" (Tokmok forestry, 8 members).
In the Tokmok forestry of the Chui Forestry and Hunting Economy, agreements have been signed with 131 farms for fishing activities. Of these:
* 30 farms have already become part of existing cooperatives;
* 20 farms have changed their types of activity;
* the remaining farms are distributed among 8 new cooperatives, which are in the planning stage.
The establishment of fish farming cooperatives in the Tokmok forestry is ongoing, and efforts to consolidate farms are actively continuing.
