Scientific Achievements:
Damir Osmonov became the first in Kyrgyzstan to perform stent-graft implantation in the descending aorta for dissection (2017), as well as renal denervation for the treatment of resistant hypertension (2021) and alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (2021).
He also managed to develop a method for the early diagnosis of diastolic dysfunction using single-channel ECG and artificial intelligence in collaboration with Professor I.K. Moldotashov and cardiac surgeon A.K. Nazarov.
Additionally, in 2022, he conducted the world's first thrombolytic therapy with the installation of a trap filter in the carotid arteries in the presence of thrombosis of a mechanical heart valve.
Awards: among his awards are the "Dank" medal from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, a certificate of honor from the government, the title of distinguished healthcare worker, the "Best Doctor of the Year" award, the "Honorary Physician of the Eurasian Union of States" order, and the "Patriot" medal from the Bishkek City Kenesh.
