In Osh, a dispute among traders arose due to the relocation of the iftar bazaar to a new site, which led to disagreements.

Previously, the iftar bazaar was located on R. Abdykadyrov Street, but it has been moved to the intersection of Mominov and Shota Rustaveli Streets.

According to the press service of the mayor's office, the conflict arose from a dispute among traders over their spots at the new location. The reasons for this decision were also outlined.

“Every year during the month of Oroz, we instruct seven territorial administrations of the city to organize iftar bazaars. These bazaars are subject to control in each district. The morning noise was caused by a conflict among traders who were arguing about the placement of their spots,” the mayor's office stated.

Some of those who previously worked at the old site were unable to find a place at the new one and started a quarrel. This happened because some traders on R. Abdykadyrov Street occupied spots along the road without permission, causing traffic jams. As a result, the bazaar was moved to Mominov Street, and now it is necessary to obtain permission from the municipality for trading,” the mayor's office added.

Trader Elaman Urmat uulu expressed the opinion that such disputes are not new.

“Previously, we worked on this street with coordination. Sometimes there were minor disagreements, but trading continued. This year, due to road repairs, it does not meet the standards, and traffic jams are forming, so we were moved here. Now we will trade here. Some traders who have worked at the old site for many years come here and argue over spots. There are no more problems,” he noted.
