The Acting Head of the Ministry of Health answered how he intends to address staffing issues in medical institutions
According to him, attracting medical specialists to remote areas is a challenging task, as many prefer to stay in cities for the convenience of their families.
“To address this issue, we need to start attracting doctors while they are still in residency training. Specialists who complete their residency receive a diploma, but during their training, they work without pay while covering their own course fees. Their salaries need to be secured, and upon completion of their residency, they should be required to work in remote areas for one to two years,” Osmonov added.
