“If urgent measures are not taken, Kyrgyzstan may face a serious ecological disaster. Previously, about 80 rivers flowed into Issyk-Kul, but now their number has decreased to 30. This issue requires our careful consideration. I propose to establish a special body or department that will address the conservation of Issyk-Kul, as well as interact with international donors to attract funding and develop effective measures,” he added.
