Factors Influencing the Success of Acne Treatment. A Study
In this work, compliance is defined as the patient's willingness to follow the doctor's prescriptions, including prescribed medications. It emphasizes that treatment outcomes depend on the patient's motivation, their level of awareness about the disease, psycho-emotional state, and social factors.
The aim of the study was to describe modern methodologies for assessing compliance in patients suffering from acne and rosacea. Specialized questionnaires and scales were used in the process, as well as practical tools aimed at improving adherence to therapy. These include individual consultations, reminders, and visual materials such as photographs, slides, and videos, which were sent to patients via WhatsApp.
The author emphasizes that studying compliance requires an interdisciplinary approach and collaboration between medical and psychological specialists. Adhering to doctors' recommendations significantly impacts not only the effectiveness of treatment but also the financial aspects of therapy.
In conclusion, it is noted that compliance is a crucial factor for successful treatment, requiring a comprehensive approach that includes psychological support, educational initiatives, and organizational measures.
