In the Jalal-Abad microdistrict on Tynalieva Street, a fatal accident involving a pedestrian took place. This was reported by deputy Zhanibek Abirov during a parliamentary session.
As the parliamentarian noted, there used to be a pedestrian crossing at the site of the incident, but it was later removed.
“In this area, there are several multi-story buildings and a bus stop. Every day, hundreds of people cross this road, but safety measures here are clearly insufficient,” he emphasized.
In this regard, the deputy proposed to consider the possibility of constructing an overpass pedestrian crossing on Tynalieva Street, at the site of the former crossing, to enhance pedestrian safety.
Additionally, Zhanibek Abirov expressed an initiative to build an overpass pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Akhunbaev and Kurchatov Streets.
