The athletes of the country have solidified their positions in the international freestyle wrestling ranking
On the international stage according to the United World Wrestling (UWW), five wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan have made it into the world ranking.
This freestyle wrestling ranking for 2026 takes into account points earned at the World Championship, which will be held in 2025 in Croatia.
In the weight category up to 57 kg, Bekzat Almaz uulu took 2nd place.
In the category up to 61 kg, Taiyrbek Jumashbek uulu is in 8th place.
Ernazar Akmataliev in the weight class up to 70 kg occupies 3rd place.
Orozobek Toktomambetov in the category up to 74 kg is in 24th place.
Muhammad Abdullaev, competing in the weight class up to 86 kg, holds 34th place.
