In Moscow, works by Repin, Aivazovsky, Levitan, and Vasnetsov are up for auction

The Moscow auction house has announced its spring sales, during which works will be exhibited not only by the aforementioned artists but also by masters such as Ivan Shishkin, Vasily Polenov, Konstantin Korovin, Pyotr Konchalovsky, and others who operated from the 18th to the 20th century.
According to the press service of the auction house, the catalog includes works from private collections that were previously exhibited at exhibitions held in the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as works belonging to individuals whose names are inextricably linked to the history of Russia.
Among the most valuable lots are Aivazovsky's landscape "Moonlit Night in Crimea" from 1861, estimated at 60 million rubles, and Levitan's painting "Moonrise. Village" from 1898 with a similar value of 50 million rubles. Serov's canvas "At Sewing" from 1896 is also valued at 50 million rubles.
In addition, among the exhibited works is Repin's painting "Narcissus" from 1917, which is priced at 45 million rubles.
