In the Batken region, the relocation of residents from landslide and rockfall zones is being considered
In order to enhance the safety of the population, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Batken region, together with local authorities, conducted an inspection in this area. Residents were handed warnings about potential threats.
In the villages of Sogment, Jangyryk, Sary-Talaa, and Kayyndy, explanatory activities were held regarding relocation to safer areas due to the danger of landslides, rockfalls, and mudflows. Each resident and the heads of the rural administration were given written notifications.
According to information provided by the rural administration of Altyn-Beshik, a total of 62 households are at risk from mudflows and landslides.
Of these 62 households, 48 received support from the government in the form of land plots and housing certificates (loans). At the same time, 14 families were left without land and loans. Additionally, 7 households received cash loans.
