The incident became known thanks to a statement from a local resident, K.T., who reported to the police on February 19 that she managed to gain the trust of the criminals. They, having gained access to her apartment, stole 120,000 soms, 150 euros, and several gold items, including a ring, a wedding band, earrings, and a chain.
A criminal case was initiated based on Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of operational activities, law enforcement identified the suspects — local residents A.G., born in 1985, and I.T., born in 1993. They were taken to the investigative authorities and placed in a temporary detention facility.
