The main objective of creating this state organization is to protect citizens in situations related to emergencies, such as natural disasters and fires, which can lead to the loss of housing or property.
According to Osmonaliev, in such difficult times, the role of insurance becomes particularly significant, as it helps people recover from losses.
In the current year of 2024, the State Insurance Company has already allocated about 24 million soms, and in 2025, the amount increased more than sixfold, reaching 147 million soms. This jump in payments is due to the expansion of insurance coverage and its mandatory nature.
The head of the department also reminded that the cost of housing insurance is 1,200 soms in cities and 600 soms in rural areas per year. These funds allow the state to guarantee payments in the event of an insured incident.
The State Insurance Company emphasizes that the mandatory insurance system has been created to make protection accessible to all citizens and to ensure equal conditions for all residents of the country.
