On February 23 in Bishkek, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, together with the heads of city services, conducted an on-site inspection of the condition of the markets in the Sverdlovsk district. This was reported by the city hall.
The first stop of the inspection was the "Dordoy" market, where improvement work is currently underway. The mayor inspected the area around the lake and the adjacent roads, where the expansion of a new road is planned.
During the tour, the mayor instructed to clear the shoreline of the lake from reeds and continue the improvement work. According to information, more than 20 tons of garbage have been removed from the lake to date.
The Sverdlovsk district administration, in cooperation with the Municipal Property Management and other services, was instructed to intensify preparatory work for road construction, including measures against illegal structures that hinder the implementation of the project.
The Municipal Inspection of Bishkek was ordered to take control of the parking situation in green zones and take necessary actions.
Additionally, relevant services were instructed to explore possibilities for building multi-level parking lots at the market and to address the identification of unauthorized structures.
Then Aibek Junushaliev inspected the "Dinar" and "Chynar" markets located in the Alamedin-1 microdistrict.
During the tour, the mayor instructed the tenant of the "Dinar" market to restore the sidewalks and ensure their accessibility for citizens. The Sverdlovsk akimat was tasked with addressing the issue of asphalting these sidewalks and greening the adjacent area.
The Land Use Control Department, together with the Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, was instructed to conduct inspections for compliance with sanitary standards and the legality of the placement of facilities, as well as to begin demolition work.
During a meeting with traders, the mayor emphasized that all work at the markets must be carried out in strict accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the inspection, the mayor reprimanded the head of the Sverdlovsk district, the head of the Municipal Property Management, and the director of the Transport Department. The head of the Sverdlovsk district was instructed to take control of the improvement of the markets and ensure the proper condition of the areas.
