The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has decided to establish special conditions for the use of the territory adjacent to the football stadium currently under construction in the Lenin District of Bishkek (formerly Orok). This step is aimed at ensuring the safety of this important facility.
A distance of 500 meters from the stadium is prohibited for the design, construction, and reconstruction of any buildings taller than 20 meters, which is equivalent to about three stories.
This ban applies to all structures, except for those listed in the annex to the resolution.
The government emphasizes that this measure is necessary to create a safe zone around the stadium and to prevent violations in the operation of this strategically important sports facility.
The responsibility for implementing this decision is assigned to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Communal Services, as well as to the Bishkek City Hall, which are tasked with taking all necessary actions within their authority.
The resolution will come into effect in seven days.
