In the eighth week of 2026 (from February 16 to 22), the republic registered 9,119 cases of illness. This figure decreased by 13.7% compared to the previous week, when 10,576 cases were recorded.
Among all the sick, 72% are children under the age of 14, which accounts for 6,568 cases. Hospitalization was required for 11.8% of them, corresponding to 1,075 cases.
Monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections and flu-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
