On February 21, Minister of Transport and Communications Talantbek Soltobaev went on a working visit to the Issyk-Kul region, as reported by the ministry's press service.
During his visit, he familiarized himself with the reconstruction process of the Balykchy — Bokonbaev — Karakol highway, as well as inspected sections from 87 to 140 km, including work on the bridges.
In addition, the minister reviewed the construction site of the bypass road in Cholpon-Ata, where expansion work on the roadway is currently underway.
Following his inspection, Talantbek Soltobaev instructed to expedite work on all sites, emphasizing the importance of quality and timely completion of construction with the onset of the construction season.
