As reported by the Alamedin District State Administration, this event is held annually and aims to preserve and develop linguistic heritage.
As part of the celebration, local residents, students, and teachers presented their musical performances and songs in their native languages, as well as organized exhibitions showcasing the diversity of cultures.
Among the participants were Uyghur, Caucasian, Turkish, Uzbek, and Russian diasporas. Guests of the event included volunteers from Japan, Nigeria, and Congo. Due to the coincidence with the month of Orozo, some diasporas declined to participate. The program also included quizzes dedicated to the languages of the world's peoples.
Participants discussed the importance of language for the identity of a people, the values passed down from generation to generation, and emphasized friendship and harmony between cultures.
At the conclusion of the event, letters of appreciation were presented to representatives of various diasporas from the head of the Alamedin District State Administration," the message specifies.
