During his inspection of the old Osh market, Mayor Janar Akaev met with local blacksmiths.
According to the mayor's office, at the meeting, the mayor emphasized the importance of improving the working conditions of the blacksmiths and bringing their workplaces in line with modern standards, as well as improving sanitary conditions.
In addition, the mayor outlined tasks for transforming this area into a tourist quarter focused on the development of national crafts. It was emphasized that this zone will function as a craftsman quarter, rather than a regular trading square.
