In Kyrgyzstan, there are more than 2,700 craftsmen
Nadyrbekov emphasized that craftsmanship encompasses many areas, and this number is not significant for either the country or the artisans themselves.
Moreover, he noted that there is no separate institution within the Ministry of Culture that deals with artisanal activities; however, the ministry is actively developing policies in this area.
“Currently, we are preparing regulatory legal acts, and the program is in the development stage. We also regularly send artisans abroad for training,” he added.
The Deputy Minister noted that by the end of 2025, nine artisans will have the opportunity to undergo three months of training in South Korea.
