Naryn Regional Court Reviewed Over 11,000 Cases in 2025
In 2025, the Naryn region hosted an important meeting where the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, discussed the results of the local courts' work over the past year. The event was also attended by Supreme Court judges, including Baktygul Amanalieva, Abylai Mukhamendzhanov, and Tynibek Bekeshov, as well as several other high-ranking representatives such as the advisor to the chairman, Ruslan Myrzalimov, and the director of the Judicial Department, Bakyt Kurmanaliev.
Satyiev emphasized that the state is taking significant steps to reform the judicial system and improve its material and technical base, which is essential for the independence of the judiciary. He noted that such support requires the highest level of responsibility and adherence to legality from all employees. According to him, the judiciary must justify the trust of both the state and the people.
Pointing out the need to eliminate corruption and pressure within the judicial system, the chairman stressed that individuals who cannot ensure fair consideration of cases should not hold their positions. The judicial system must be cleansed of any negative manifestations.
Every court decision must be based on the law, be objective, and well-founded, which is the main goal of the meeting — to affirm these principles and maintain the integrity of justice.
During the meeting, the chairman of the Naryn regional court, Kuralbek Abdykadyrov, presented a report on the quality of justice. He reported that in 2025, 11,741 cases were filed in the first instance courts, of which 11,281 were considered, which is 1,169 cases more than the previous year, representing an 11.5% increase.
In the Naryn regional court, 423 cases were submitted for appeal, accounting for only 3.7% of the total number, and 334 cases fewer compared to 2024.
The deputy chairpersons of the Naryn regional court also shared the results of their work from the previous year.
Before visiting the Naryn region, the chairman of the Supreme Court decided to send Supreme Court judges to the regions to provide methodological and practical assistance to local courts, which was implemented during this visit.
