
In his message, he congratulated not only Muslims but also the Kyrgyz people as a whole, as well as all of humanity on the arrival of this holy month.
In his opinion, fasting serves as an important reminder of the Almighty Allah and awakens a sense of responsibility in Muslims. He noted that observing the fast purifies the soul, improves a person's inner world, and promotes good deeds and relationships, as well as strengthens piety.
“During the fasting period, a Muslim should guard their eyes from the forbidden, their ears from the unlawful, and their tongue from lies. Fasting also includes refraining from prohibited food and bad actions, and realizing that Allah sees every action,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, Zakirov recalled the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which states that whoever fasts in Ramadan with sincere faith and hope for reward from Allah, and also performs night prayers and the Night of Decree in worship, will receive forgiveness for their past sins.
In conclusion of his address, the head of the Spiritual Administration wished all those who are fasting that their efforts be accepted.
