The "Lanzhou" station has become the starting point for the first container train heading towards "Dushanbe-2," covering the route China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan — Tajikistan. This was reported by Podrobno.uz.

The train, consisting of eight 40-foot containers with consumer goods and construction equipment, will cover a distance of over 3,500 kilometers in 18-20 days, making it an important link in the regional transport corridor.

The implementation of this project was made possible by the joint venture UTK International Logistics Co. Ltd, established in China with the participation of the Uzbek joint-stock company "Uztemiryulcontainer," which became a key co-founder and organized the transportation of goods.

The launch of this route is a practical step towards the implementation of agreements reached in 2025 at the meeting of the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
