A new realistic 3D model of the Central Mosque has appeared in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This project was implemented by the international mapping platform 2GIS in connection with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.
The company noted that now the main religious and cultural landmark of Bishkek is available for detailed exploration through their application. The model features high detail, allowing users to familiarize themselves with architectural elements, minarets, the facade, and the surrounding area.
"The Central Mosque holds great significance for residents and tourists, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Our goal was to create not just a navigation landmark, but a digital symbol reflecting the beauty of Bishkek's architecture. The work on the model took a considerable amount of time so that by the holiday, the citizens could appreciate the results of our 3D designers' efforts," commented 2GIS.
In addition to visual capabilities, 2GIS provides users with useful tools for planning visits to the mosque:
Navigation: the service offers optimal routes by car, public transport, or on foot.
Entrances: the map clearly marks the entrances to both the building and its territory.
Infrastructure: users can easily find the nearest parking lots and public transport stops.
The model of the Central Mosque named after Imam Sarakhsi is already available in the 2GIS mobile application for iOS and Android platforms, as well as on the website 2gis.kg. For detailed exploration, simply find the mosque on the map and zoom in on the image or click on the building icon.
