The mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, conducted an inspection of the municipal enterprise "Bishkekteploset," focusing on issues related to accidents on the heating mains during the heating season. According to information from the enterprise, 63 emergency cases were registered during the autumn-winter period.
According to the press service of the mayor's office, there were 73 accidents recorded in 2024-2025, and 87 in 2023-2024. Despite the decrease in the number of incidents, the wear and tear of the infrastructure remains a serious problem.
The mayor visited pumping station No. 1, where he was shown the results of work aimed at improving the reliability of heat supply, as well as sections of the heating networks that have been in operation since 1985 and require replacement.
Some pipes need to be modernized, and we are gradually replacing them. It is impossible to update everything at once — the work is being carried out in stages.

He also noted that the most worn-out sections are undergoing repairs and replacements.
In addition, the mayor familiarized himself with the capital renovation of the enterprise's dispatch service and the ZULU GIS information system, which contains data on the heating networks of Bishkek. This system allows for real-time monitoring of the network's condition, quick responses to emergencies, and control of the movement of special equipment using GPS trackers.
At the end of the inspection, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev positively assessed the work of the enterprise, emphasizing the need for further modernization of the heating mains to reduce the number of accidents.
