In the Jalal-Abad Region, 15 enterprises were launched and 7 billion soms in investments were attracted over the year.

On February 18, a board meeting was held in the Jalal-Abad region to summarize the socio-economic development of the region for the year 2025.

High-ranking officials attended the event, including the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev, as well as the Presidential Envoy in the region Tilek Tekebaev. Among those present were the heads of cities and districts, as well as leaders of various institutions and enterprises.

The meeting conducted a thorough assessment of the key indicators of socio-economic development in the region and the results achieved.

The results of the past year show that the index of physical volume of industrial production reached 125.8%, while the growth rate of agriculture reached 105.3%. Investments in fixed capital increased by 140.3%. The total amount of industrial production amounted to 58 billion 845 million soms, which is 7.4% of the total volume of the republic. During the year, 15 large production facilities were opened, attracting more than 7 billion soms in investments.

In the agricultural sector, the volume of produced goods amounted to 88 billion 880.8 million soms, with the region's share in the republic reaching 19.3%. Additionally, the revenue part of the state budget amounted to 27 billion 806 million soms, exceeding planned indicators by 105.6%.

In the social sphere, 52 new facilities were commissioned, including 24 kindergartens, 22 schools, and 15 sports facilities. Also, 50 budget-funded places were opened at the medical faculty of Jalal-Abad State University.

In 2025, the region registered 26,667 newborns and 301 cases of child mortality under one year, which is 41 cases fewer than in the previous year.

As part of the state program "My Home," 2,865 apartments were commissioned.

Under the "Social Contract" program, 4,207 families received financial support of 150,000 soms each. In the tourism sector, the region was visited by more than 353,000 tourists, bringing over 288 million soms to the local budget.

Following the board meeting, the governor of the region set a number of tasks for the heads of districts and cities for 2026, aimed at stimulating economic growth, attracting investments, developing social infrastructure, and improving the quality of life for the population. Attention was also drawn to the need to enhance the quality of education and medical services, prepare for spring fieldwork, and rationally use water resources.

The implementation of the decisions made at the meeting will be monitored, and relevant measures are already being planned.
