This issue was raised by the MP at a session of the Jogorku Kenesh
Today, at a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva drew attention to the critical situation when patients arriving at the hospital in emergency cases need blood transfusions. Often, doctors send relatives to the blood center to collect the necessary components themselves.
In addition, relatives have to undergo compatibility testing at one of the private medical clinics.
“Families are told that they must first collect blood from the center, then undergo compatibility testing at a private clinic, and only after that can the blood be returned to the hospital for transfusion. In emergency situations, this leads to the loss of precious time, which may result in the patient not surviving,” she emphasized.
Sadyrbaeva also noted that relatives are forced to wait in queues, which further prolongs the process of obtaining necessary medical services.
In her opinion, compatibility testing should be conducted directly in hospitals, and the transportation of blood should be carried out by medical institution staff using official transport and specially trained personnel.
Additionally, the deputy proposed to make coronary angiography free in emergency situations so that patients do not waste time searching for financial resources.
