The incidence of syphilis, intestinal infections, and influenza has increased in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, there is an increase in the incidence of syphilis, brucellosis, and influenza in 2025. The Deputy Minister of Health and Chief Sanitary Doctor of the country, Ryspek Sydygaliev, announced this data on the air of "Birinchi Radio".

According to him, in 2025, the republic registered 491,516 cases of infectious diseases, which is 36.3 percent more compared to 360,536 cases in 2024.

In the structure of infectious morbidity, 81.9 percent consists of acute viral infections, including ARVI and influenza.

Ryspek Sydygaliev also noted that there were recorded cases of decreased morbidity:


At the same time, according to his data, there is an increase in the incidence of acute intestinal infections by 15.2 percent, brucellosis by 1.3 percent, and ARVI and influenza by 1.5 times.
The number of people with HIV infection in 2025 increased by 8.2 percent, while the incidence of syphilis rose by 2.1 percent.
Last year, six cases of anthrax, five cases of imported malaria, three cases of hepatitis E, and one case of tetanus were registered, added Ryspek Sydygaliev.
