Of these:
- 3,819 lonely elderly people;
- 2,313 persons with disabilities;
- 350 married couples;
- 2,971 families in difficult life situations.
Social workers assist elderly individuals living alone, citizens with limited mobility, couples, and families facing serious life challenges. They help with everyday issues and provide psychological and social support.
Each social worker visits their clients at least twice a week, based on an individual schedule approved by the management of the department. This approach helps ensure quality care and timely assistance to those in need.
To receive home assistance, a written request must be submitted by local self-government bodies, neighbors, or relatives of the citizen in need. The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration continues its efforts to improve the accessibility and quality of social services.
