Human rights activist Cholpon Jakupova expressed her opinion on the recent public arrests of representatives of law enforcement agencies on social media.

According to her, for several days the population has been observing "special operations" for the detention of law enforcement officers.

“Some are happy about this (you used to oppress us, and now it’s your turn), others show curiosity, while others wearily state: ‘Let them take each other down, they deserve it...’. Each of them is right in their own way,” noted the human rights activist.

She also emphasized that she feels "deep concern and bitterness" and pointed out that internal conflicts between agencies are arising again, along with "mask shows for the camera" and deliberate public humiliation.

“Is it impossible to stop this endless cycle? The best solution is to demonstrate a cool mind, to show that you are not as lawless as they are, that you know the law and respect yourself,” she added.

Cholpon Jakupova called for an end to "petty wars," whether they are departmental, regional, or national, emphasizing that there is already enough anxiety, and she is tired of feeling on the brink of some grand upheaval.

In conclusion, she expressed hope that law enforcement officers understand the value of peace and stability better than many.
