Schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan participated in a prestigious robotics championship

From February 11 to 13, one of the largest STEM championships in Central Asia - ALEM TECH FEST 2026 - took place in Astana, gathering young programmers, engineers, and inventors from various corners of the region.

More than 5,000 schoolchildren from seven countries participated in this event.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by teams from the "Maarif" and "Epsilon" schools.

Within the framework of the championship, significant international and regional initiatives in the field of STEM and robotics were presented:

Central Asia FIRST Championship;
FIRST LEGO League (from four years old);
Drone League & FPV;
Physical AI and humanoid robots;
RoboCup Rescue;
Battle of Bots;
Hour of AI.

Participants competed in various areas, including robotics, drone management, AI solution development, humanoid robot creation, and projects related to rescue operations.

The participation of teams from Kyrgyzstan in this championship was a significant step for the development of engineering and technological education in the country. The event provided schoolchildren with the opportunity to exchange experiences, interact with international partners, and immerse themselves in current technological trends.
