Kyrgyzstan's wushu athletes won 54 medals at the 'Piki Tyan-Shanya' Games.


The national team of Kyrgyzstan in wushu demonstrated excellent results at the international wushu kung fu tournament held in Almaty as part of the third Martial Arts Games "Piki Tyan-Shanya".

According to the Federation of Traditional Wushu, our athletes won a total of 54 medals, including 18 gold, 17 silver, and 19 bronze.

Among the winners of the competition were Erik Abdildaev, Andrey Borisov, Elina Isakova, Yegor Leontiev, Saadat Kasymalieva, Elima Temirbekova, Almira Kasmakhunova, Adilet Aydarov, Edil Muratbek uulu, Amina Alimjanova, Philipp Oplachkin, Narina Narynbekova, and Eles Kokumbek kyzy.

The tournament gathered participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan and was organized with the support of the World Association of Traditional Wushu.

The preparation of the Kyrgyz team was conducted under the guidance of experienced coaches Evgeny Lopatkin and Natalia Neshcheret, and the team included athletes from various clubs and sports schools across the country.

This Games also serve as an important stage in preparation for international competitions, including world and Asian championships, as well as the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, where wushu will be represented for the first time.
