According to Omorova, the eagle was spotted by birdwatcher Azamat, who immediately notified the "ASBK Ornithology" group. This raises particular concern as live eagles were observed in the same location the day before. Currently, a pair of white-tailed eagles has been recorded in the area, which has begun to incubate eggs.
The cause of the bird's death is currently unknown. Omorova emphasizes the need for urgent research or an autopsy to determine whether it was related to an electric shock, poisoning, or other factors. Without an official conclusion, such cases cannot be accounted for.
Activists report that the ranger did not arrive at the scene, and an inspection report was not compiled.
Ecologists remind that the white-tailed eagle is protected, and every case of its death requires mandatory investigation and documentation. Recently, one of the rehabilitation centers performed surgery on an injured eagle, which was successfully saved.
Gulbara Omorova urges the services of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision to respond to this incident and conduct an investigation regarding the death of this rare bird.
