"I Got a Pacemaker": Nurzhamal Manas kyzy Shared How Love Helped Her Through a Difficult Time
Nurjamal, 23 years old, hails from the village of Kurshab in the Uzgen district, and was born on April 5, 2002. She currently lives with her husband in Bishkek, where she takes care of household chores.
After finishing the 9th grade, Nurjamal attended manicure courses and medical courses, and at the age of 22, she got married.
Suleiman and Nurjamal met in 2024 in Istanbul.
“I grew up with my grandparents while my mom worked in Turkey. When she invited me to Istanbul, I agreed. In a store, I met my future husband, who asked for my number, but I didn’t give it to him right away. My mom noticed him and later said that he was a good guy,” she shares.
According to her memories, one day after work, he invited her to a café.
“We were drinking tea, and he confessed his feelings. That’s when our relationship began,” says Nurjamal.
Later, she returned to Kyrgyzstan, where her father-in-law was initially against their relationship.
“But my husband said, ‘I will marry her,’” she recalls.
In January, he came to Kyrgyzstan to get her, and in February they had their nikah. According to tradition, they held a small wedding, and a big wedding, if luck permits, is still ahead,” adds Nurjamal.
She states that her parents did not oppose their union.
However, they also faced difficulties.
“When we were at the Osh market, someone mistook us and started causing a scene. We contacted the police, and they later apologized,” she recounts.
Suleiman Yshyk, her husband, is from Nigde (Turkey) and was born in 1999.
In May 2025, Nurjamal fell ill and underwent surgery, which resulted in the installation of a pacemaker. In June, they were involved in a car accident, but despite the challenges, they manage to cope. “Right now, everything is fine with us,” she asserts.
Currently, Nurjamal is engaged in household chores and runs a blog, creating videos.
“We want to create a harmonious family, develop our blogging, and provide our children with a good upbringing,” she summarizes.
