Sadyr Japarov on the Dismissals of "Tashiev's People": We Are Not Holding Anyone Back
Sadyr Japarov stated: "If someone decides to leave their position on their own, we will not hold them back. However, the investigation into corruption in the ministries is ongoing. If facts of embezzlement are uncovered, those responsible will be held accountable."
The president also reminded that he has always warned: "It is not advisable to hire relatives and close friends. Those who expect their acquaintances to cover for them risk becoming criminals without fear of punishment."
Japarov added that he had not allowed any of his relatives to hold high government positions and had not involved them in politics. He also mentioned that he had dismissed two matchmakers who held positions before his appointment as president.
The interview with the president was conducted an hour before the official announcement of the change in leadership at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Boobek Azhikeev, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Meder Mashiev, and the Ministry of Transport, Abstattar Syrgabaev, who had close ties with Tashiev.
