Bozo Festival in Naryn
Deputy Akim of the Ak-Tala district Kanibek Esenaliev noted that this event was part of a three-day press tour initiated by the presidential representative in the Naryn region. The main goal is to develop winter tourism and promote the historical and tourist attractions of the region.
During the celebration, the Ak-Tala and Naryn districts divided responsibilities to best showcase the cultural heritage of the area:
The Ak-Tala district presented the bozo festival. Craftsmen treated guests to a national drink that has become a symbol of the district and demonstrated traditional methods of its preparation. An exhibition of local products was also organized.
The Naryn district took on the cultural content of the event and organized an exhibition of folk applied arts. The best craftsmen, designers, and uzdars showcased their works.
The festival gathered about 70 participants, including foreign tourists and media representatives. Guests were offered not only dishes from the national cuisine but also tours of historical sites. "The Ak-Tala district showcased unique ways of preparing bozo and introduced guests to its history, while the Naryn district demonstrated the richness of our craft heritage and culture. The exhibition brought together the best craftsmen and producers of the region," added Esenaliev.
