In the village of Luxembourg, a memorial rally was held in memory of internationalist soldiers.
The solemn events began in the village of Luxembourg, located near the city of Kant. A memorial meeting was held at the monument to internationalist soldiers, where participants observed a moment of silence in honor of the fallen heroes. A memorial prayer was then recited, and wreaths and flowers were laid at the monument, symbolizing recognition of the courage of the soldiers who fulfilled their duty to the Motherland.
The celebration continued at the House of Culture, where a concert was presented for the veterans. The mayor of Kant, Ulan Mailibashev, and representatives of the Issyk-Ata district administration delivered welcoming speeches.
As part of the event, veterans of the Afghan war received honorary awards and insignia. Speaking about the significance of the feats of the internationalist soldiers, the speakers noted that this serves as an important example of patriotism for today's youth.
