
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia reported on the progress of the project aimed at harmonizing educational programs and involving the relevant agencies in matters concerning Kyrgyzstan.
During the "government hour" in the State Duma, Sergey Lavrov outlined the details of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of education.
In response to a question from the chairwoman of the ANO "Eurasia," Alena Arshinova, regarding the possibilities of creating a unified educational space, the minister noted that education standards are a matter of national sovereignty and require a delicate approach.
According to Lavrov, a project initiated by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, is currently being implemented, aimed at harmonizing educational programs in both primary and higher education. He added that the successful implementation of this project could serve as a foundation for similar initiatives in other CIS countries.
The minister also reported that the ANO "Eurasia" is participating in the project coordinated by the Ministry of Education of Russia. Lavrov emphasized that the Russian Foreign Ministry will continue its active role in educational initiatives, including projects aimed at supporting the Russian language and international cooperation.
Alena Arshinova, in turn, expressed her gratitude to the Russian Foreign Ministry for its assistance in implementing various projects, including humanitarian initiatives and cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic.
