The Bishkek city hall reported the completion of all planned activities aimed at preparing for the heating season of 2025/2026. The main goal of these actions is to ensure reliable and stable heating supply for the city.
According to information from the city authorities, in 2025, 1 billion 230 million soms have been allocated for repair work to the municipal enterprise "Bishkek TEC". As of now, the repair of 5 energy boilers and 6 turbo units has been completed, and work has been carried out to repair heating supply equipment.
In addition, "Bishkekteploset" has conducted large-scale repair and construction work, including the restoration of 4,551 meters of heating networks and 21 pumping stations. Also, 424 units of shut-off valves and 1,543 square meters of thermal insulation have been replaced.
At the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Osmonkul Street, the construction of pumping station No. 3 has been completed, and the reconstruction of heating networks on Kurmanjan-Datka and Frunze streets has been carried out.
In turn, the municipal enterprise "Bishkekteploenergo" installed 9 new gas boilers in 2025 and replaced 2.7 kilometers of heating networks. As part of this work, 108 boiler houses and 495 units of equipment have been repaired, and 5 coal boiler houses have been reconstructed.
It is worth noting that the first phase of the "Bishkekselmash" boiler project has been completed, which involves the launch of 6 boilers with a total capacity of 60 MW.
In addition, the city hall, together with Gazprom Kyrgyzstan LLC, is actively working on the project of gasification of residential areas in the city. Currently, more than 50,000 subscribers have been connected to gas, significantly improving the comfort and quality of life for the residents of the capital.
